This quick and easy treat needs no preamble.
I'm never one for much of an excuse when it comes to yummy treats and honestly these are pretty healthy as far as chocolate truffles go but who am I kidding, a truffle is a truffle is a truffle! Enjoy in moderation.
Chocolate Truffles
Grain-free, Gluten-free, Dairy-free, Refined Sugar-free
Makes 18
Ingredients:
1/2 cup (55g) raw unsalted hazelnuts
1/2 cup (55g) raw unsalted pecans
2 tbsp (30g) coconut oil
1/3 cup (35g) raw cacao powder, plus more for dusting
6 pitted medjool dates (approx 70g)
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp tamari (or sub coconut aminos plus a pinch of sea salt)
Instructions:
1. Blitz in food processor, roll, dust, refrigerate to set. EAT! (not all 18 at once if possible!) x
